While one SEC matchup is going to garner the most attention this week, there is a different rivalry that deserves some love. Texas and Oklahoma battle each other in the Cotton Bowl. Fanatics Sportsbook is offering promo code FOXNEWS350 to earn $350 on a $20 wager on the game.
Rivalries make all sports more interesting, but many people feel deeply connected with colleges - even more than professional teams. Oklahoma and Texas are two of the more popular college football teams in general, so when these two battle, it gets even more attention.
Texas comes into the game as the No. 1-ranked team in the country. The Longhorns are 4-0 for the season, and even though they've looked a bit shaky in some games, they've still come out on top. Their bigger games have been against Ohio State and Tennessee, and they won both. They came back against Ohio State and won by one point. They beat Tennessee on the road by three.
Texas, for the past two seasons, has looked a bit rough on the road. And, technically, this is a road game, but it almost certainly will feel like a home game because it is being played in Dallas, Texas.
The Oklahoma Sooners are not ranked this season, and they are not exactly looking fantastic to start the year. They are just 2-2 coming into this game and lost their lone SEC battle. That was a game against Georgia when they last took the field, and they lost by almost 30.
The other loss the Sooners had was against Michigan, another road game. Their two wins were over UTEP and the University of New Mexico. Even the game against the Lobos wasn't a strong performance from Oklahoma, winning by just eight points.
The Cotton Bowl has already seen movement in favor of the Longhorns and the under. Is Texas the correct side? Will it be a low-scoring affair? Make the call on Fanatics Sportsbook with promo code FOXNEWS350. Wager $20 and you'll receive $350 in FanCash.
