  What an AMAZING experience!! Right from the start we were welcomed warmly by our guides, James and Anu (sorry, not sure of spelling). We were given, step by step instructions on what to expect, clearly and precisely. We were a mixed bunch, including a lovely lady who couldn't swim, and a family with 3 younger, but very adventurous kids. Right off the bat, James wasn't happy with the fit of the 3 younger kids helmets, so jumped in the van and went to get others that he felt fit better. The beautiful lady that couldn't swim had a life vest provided for her immediately, along with the obligatory gear. As we descended into the canyon, both guides were happy to chat with us, getting to know us along the way. Once we started our canyoning experience, full instruction was provided for every section.. Our friend who couldn't swim either had a guide rock jump before her, and wait in the water to help her out, or we as a group took turns to help her out. When we reached the falls, I heard our guide , James, talking to the "family" of our group, and he explained "one child will abseil with Mum, one with Dad, and I'll come down with the last one." It honestly filled my heart with trust that these guys were here for our safety!! I will admit, stepping out onto that rock face was possibly the most terrifying moment of my life, but I felt 100% safe, and abseiled that waterfall like a BOSS. THANKYOU!! I will be back!!!

  Awesome day out with Lisa. Going down into the canyon was spectacular with our guides and the rest of our team. I'll be honest i did struggle quite a bit, Being short and over weight, But i got through it. Now going back up the canyon was a problem. Talk about UNFIT. I seriously had to stop every 4 or 5 steps on the way back up. Jumped for joy upon seeing the top of the cafe roof, One down fall, you cannot take your own photos because your to busy worrying about your surroundings, And its pretty much go go go. The only photo we had was when Lucas our guide had taken a group photo. I have been trying to get that photo with no luck. Big thank you to Leo and espicially Lucas. What a gentleman you are. So anyway i am still going to try and get that photo, because its the only proof i have that says i tried it. Thank you for an experience of a life time.

  Unbelievably fun and pretty experience, I’ve seen a bit of the Blue Mountains, but never like this! Can’t wait to book in for another tour it was so rewarding in every possible part. Richard was also super lovely, patient and full of information/educational, he even came in to take us on his day off. Couldn’t wipe the smile off my face the entire time!

  End to end, this was a fabulous day out. Our guide, Ryan, was superb - enthusiastic, very skilled, and provided great insight into both the technical skills needed for the various challenges, and also about the environment we were passing through. It's clear he loves his job and the environment, and he passed that on to the tour participants.

  Loved every single second. Often frightening but always safe, jumping metres into icy cold water, abseiling 30 metres through a waterfall, falling backwards into a deep rock pool, parkour running to jump into a cave pool, swimming/scrambling through tight canyons. Sean and Luke were phenomenal guides. Strongly recommend doing this if you are reasonably fit and agile - we had a 72 year old in our group and he loved it!

  I booked this experience with Eagle Rock Adventures for my partner and I as it was his 21st Birthday and i myself also wanted to start being more adventurous. We were supposed to do our experience on the previous day however from the trip up we were very tired and the company was flexible and helped out to make our adventure the next day! (We were very lucky to get the next day, however this might not happen for everyone as people need to be moved around and changed, or spots will be full) We really appreciated that. Our tour guide was Richard and he was great! I am usually not an adventurous person however with the support, guidance and patience of Richard it made the experience so much better and really enjoyable. The jumping into the pools, sliding down the rocks and walking through the canyons was truly amazing and beautiful. We will definitely book more tours and adventurous with these guys, definitely recommend. Thankyou!!

  Trip was amazing! We had such a great time abseiling and canyoning. Richard and Lucas our guides were fantastic. Highly recommend this trip.

  This was a really fun adventure to do with our friend group. I learned a lot of cool things about nature, canyoning and abseiling from the instructors Ryan and Richard.

  Couldn't recommend this enough for complete beginners or even if you have done some canyoning/abseiling once or twice before. Such a great experience from start to finish, you get to see a completely different side of the Blue Mountains. We went in the last weekend of October, temperature was perfect. Our guide was amazing, a relaxed guy who was super knowledgeable about the environment around us, and we had no problems putting our trust in him. We plan to do another Eagle Rock experience sometime in December.

  My fiancée and I had a BLAST with Eagle Rock Adventures. Our guide Shaun was knowledgeable, chilled and made the day super fun. We went abseiling at Narrow Neck Lookout which was a great introduction with 5, 15 and 30m abseils. Then we went Canyoning in Empress Falls which was spectacular. Trudging through water, rock jumping and abseiling down a 30m waterfall at the end was hype. Can't wait to go back and do some more bigger canyons with the company. Thank you!!
